The Do’s And Don’ts Of Taking Care Of Your Chromebook

The last two weeks in Te Ngahere we have been re-learning the dos and the don’ts of looking after your Chromebook. After we finished we had to create a DLO on how to look after your Chromebook properly, we could use anything to show our audience on how to look after your Chromebook. I chose to do a google drawing and showed lots of different do’s and don’ts of taking care of your chromebook( Eg: Don’t leave your Chromebook on the edge of a table because someone could walk past and knock it off but if you but it further away from the edge no one would break your Chromebook.  ) Also If you did an animation you had to go over it with a a screencastify because if it was just an animation it would be boring to  look at. When I was doing my google drawing I had to keep going back and re-reading the original kawa of care . I really enjoyed making my google drawing of taking care of your Chromebook because it taught me a lot about taking care of our chromebooks properly..

Do you learn on a Chromebook?

The Enjoyable Game of Universal Ball

This week in Te Ngahere for P.E we played universal ball. Universal ball is a game which we have a frisbee for frisbee, a basketball for basketball and netball, rugby ball for turbo touch and a soccer ball for soccer. First we were split into different teams first our teacher split the boys and then the girls. At the start of a game our teacher called out one, two or three and mostly and the end she says the whole team but this time she said all the boys and then she did all the girls. When we play Universal ball my favourite game would be soccer and netball. I really enjoyed when we play soccer because the ball usually goes everywhere and it is really funny. At the end of this game when the girls went we played netball and it was a mess. Hopefully when we do that again the girls aren’t a mess.

Have you ever played universal ball?

Mosaic Art

For the past few weeks in Te Ngahere we have been trying out Mosaic art on our Chromebooks and a couple of us did it on a piece of paper. A mosaic is using lots of small shapes to make a picture without connecting with each other.  First we had to choose a colour for the background. Then a picture of either an animal or an idol I chose a red panda. For me the hardest thing was the tail because it has a colour pattern with two different shades of orange which are darker from each other by the tiniest thing. After you do your background and your picture you use polyline tool and then you can zoom in. Then start your mosaic and make sure that they’re not touching.

Have you ever done a digital Mosaic art?

Movie Making

This week in Te Ngahere we have started our planning for our movie. First we had to get into a group. In my group is Autumn, Gail, Imogen and I . We are working on our script which to me is the one of the hardest thing because you have to make sure the conversations are flowing and also make sure the acting is on point. The hardest thing would be the filming because you have to find the different types of shots and also where you’re gonna shoot every scene from. Gail is the filmer and the director and the rest of us are actors. The fun part is probably the acting, because if you don’t do good enough you won’t pull it off and it would look really bad.

Have you ever made a mini movie?
